Career Pathways (Electives)

A pathway is defined as three elective units in a coherent sequence in Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE), World Language, or Fine Arts. Every student needs a minimum of one pathway (multiple pathways can be taken) to graduate. Georgia Connections Academy offers CTAE Pathways, Fine Arts Pathways, World Language Pathways, and Advanced Academics Pathways. We encourage all students to explore the different pathway options available to them and choose a pathway that aligns with their interests and goals. 

 

Students can also complete some or all of their pathway elective credits through Dual Enrollment.  Students can also earn Technical Certificates of Credit through Dual Enrollment at one of Georgia’s Technical Colleges.
